Aleutian Islands, Alaska

The Aleutian Island change separates the North Pacific Ocean (Gulf of Alaska) from the Bering Sea. There are many active volcanoes on this chain, which is part of the tectonically active "Ring of Fire" that also gave birth to the Hawaiian Islands.
